A blog writer it is important to make his blog visible in google search result. if your website is not visible under google search result it is waste of time to write blog, or that means your blog is not existing. So according to me a existing blog or website is one which is visible under search engine results.
all search engines like google, yahoo and bing having ranking methods to show the contents to their users. so they provides what is most relevant for their users. so in order to reach your contents into the search result you need to do one thing called SEO.
SEO/ SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION Is a way to improve your website visibility into the search engines. these techniques will brings you organic audience or unpaid audience. GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE is a tool to improve the website visibility in google search engine. once you entered into the google search console you have to add your property (your website or android app). after that it is time to add your site map into the google webmaster tool. by doing this your site will show under google search results.
So let me tell you how we will add site map into the google webmaster tool.
Go to the Google search console ( Earlier known as Google webmaster tool )
then add your website
then go to crawl section and click on site map
Then you will see ADD/ TEST SITE MAP. Click on that.
Then go to a website called XML SITE MAP FOR BLOGGER. In this site you have to type / paste your blog url. after that click on generate site map.
Now you will get your site map address. then copy a part from that address starting with atom.xml. see the image below.
Go to the GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE and add the text which is copied. ( see the image below)
Now you can click on Submit. After this you google search console will ask you to refresh the page. and you will be successfully submitted your site map.
